Last Summer, I had the pleasure of visiting the French countryside for a magical wedding weekend. We stayed in the charming city of Lectoure, the closest village to the Castelnau des Fieumarcon, where the wedding was held. Once the capital of the Gers and the former stronghold of the Counts of Armagnac, this hilltop village is famous for its cantaloupe melons — perfect paired with a piece of country ham, floc de Gascogne, or port.
